Carmichael accepts Superintendent position

The Bison School Board held a special meeting on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 to interview Superintendent candidate Shawnda Carmichael. The board spent about an hour in executive session and then offered Carmichael a two year contract, at $105,000 for the 2026-2027 year, Carmichael accepted the offer to begin July 1, 2026
